The emotional component at Copper Canyon Academy therapeutic boarding schools for girls assists with the growth of each student. Students participate in individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy on a daily and weekly basis. Copper Canyon Academy has an extremely comprehensive therapeutic program and is utilized to resolve issues, rebuild the family relationship, and to overcome, emotional obstacles the student is confronting.

Participation in a series of Student Seminars, Parent Seminars, and Family Workshops enables students to focus on issues such as honesty, integrity, trust, responsibility, accountability, anger, self-esteem, and self- awareness. Copper Canyon Academy believes that each student is unique and has designed a program that reaches students and families from numerous approaches. (see Counseling)
